SYNOPSIS

“​Moldovans pride themselves on their hospitality, and ​Pasha and Alexandr are no exception. The middle-aged couple prepare a traditional feast for their niece, Olga, and her husband, Ivan, who are visiting home after living in the USA for four years. When the hosts realize their guests have turned themselves vegan and will not eat anything on the table, the celebration becomes carnage.”

“MOTHER NATURE is a comedic portrayal of generational conflict. As a contrast to my previous films, MOTHER NATURE takes a humorous approach to some major problems of the 21st century: climate change, factory farming, deforestation, and waste. We spend our entire lives searching for a true and healthy way of living. This pursuit often leads to strong opinions, which we feel the need to share. This short film offers a mix of French fragrance, with a pinch of Serbian spicy humor, and a dab of Polish resolve.”
